I've gone back home to visit my parents, and whilst on the plane I realised that its been almost a year since i've been home! Im so happy to be here i forgot how nice it is to actually have sunlight during the day, and to have my dad wake me up with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice! :)

I was sooo excited to have so much sunlight, that from the moment the plane was above the clouds i didn't stop shooting. And even though i must have taken the same shots about 100 times, the sound of my cameras shutter combined with the sun and clouds was making me so happy that it didn't even occur to me! :P

You know how they say there is a song for everything? This is my song for Barcelona! Enjoy!

Happy Wednesday!

Hipstamatic

I found myself a nice and quick alternative to my SLR which I can have with me at all times! :) It's an application (yes for the infamous iphone) called hipstamatic, and takes very cool pictures! You can photograph anything and it looks cool! :)

I know i take a lot of pictures of my cat, but its not my fault she follows me around and always looks so cute! :)

Oldies

Today i decided to look through my old albums and see what i could find! Its so nice to go back on them and think how much things have changed since i took that little frame in time! :) I used to eat lunch in this park in between classes, and watch the pigeons fight over food or kiss and be twitterpated! :) 
I've been to Geneva with my other half and driven around at night when everyone else is asleep! :) I love driving and listening to good music and at night the streets are so empty and so quiet! 

My sister and i fostered kittens! There were 5 of them, Rambo, Little Buddha, Kikko, Kikka and pulgarthito (spanish name!) The women from the RSPCA told me they were feral, and since i didn't know at the time what that meant i just thought: "woohoo kittens!!!" Little did i know that tiny little kittens have pirana like teeth and claws! :S After one month they were all very cuddly and re-homed!! If it were up to me i would have kept them all but i wouldn't have turned out to be the crazy cat lady a bit earlier then expected. Dorothy was very happy when they left, she even started to sleep in the same room as me!

I also went to work in Milan for a month! I would go to the Duomo every day for at least half an hour, it was one of the places i felt most comfortable at. Even though people say that pigeons are rats with wings attached, i love the cooing sound they make and the flutter of their wings. 

A good day, within a bad day

Last night my house was broken into, and a horrible person ran off with my camera :( Even though i wish all the pigeons in the world would fly around him and forever deposit their faeces on him, i can't sit and sulk all day long (partially cause i have to see a lot of police and get my door fixed). 

So instead, since my sister is getting married in June and i have a lot to do between now and them, i've been looking at wedding blogs for inspiration to help her.

There are so many adorable things people have done, and so many original ideas, each thing i see is better then the previous! :P

Sunny Bank holiday Monday

My friends and i have started a tradition to go on a little trip on the bank holiday of August :) So far im loving our tradition! 

We always make sure to make the most of our time in the sun driving around listening to good music,

basking in the sun,

chatting about everything and nothing,

fooling around,  

playing games, 

and celebrating a birthday!

Despite how much i love traveling, when i come back i always sing this song to myself!

Today

Today i got out of work early and decided to spend some time at home doing the things i do at home... of course non of that is possible without miss kitty spy! 

I baked some cookies...

She begged...

I ate some cookies...

She didn't...

I watered the flowers that were alive...

She took care of the sick ones...

She Spied some more...
and laid on the veranda worshipping the sun pretending the sun was worshipping her...

I read a little...
She slept a lot...

Dorothy has found her new throne, on a tower of torn cushions! She's far too superior to sleep at the foot of the bed!!
